The Project has been implemented in the severely flood affected areas covering 62 unions under 13 upazilas of 4 districts under Dhaka, Faridpur and Barisal regions of NGO Forum. The districts are Manikgonj, Madaripur, Shariatpur and Barisal. The upazillas are Shavalaya, Harirampur, Daulatpur, Ghior, Shibchar, Madarapur, Janjira, Shariatpur, Naria, Bhedergonj, Gusairhat, Damudya and Muladi.

General Objective
To reduce the potential negative affects of the disaster (Flood) on the affected population.
Specific Objectives
The specific objectives of the project are:
? To ensure access and availability of safe drinking water for the affected population
? To ensure access and availability of hygienic latrine
? To ensure prevention of communicable diseases
