To improve the quality of life of people by introducing sustained hygiene practices and improved safe water supply and sanitation facilities and services with increased access to those by the poor. The objective of the project is to build the capacity of the Union Parishad to plan and manage water and sanitation projects effectively and efficiently and to increase access to water supply services. RESULTS : # Union Parishad capacitised for managing any other project properly and be able to procure with maintaining the PPR. # Union Parishad able to managed project-related activities like sub-project proposal preparation, financial management, procurement, monitoring, etc. # The hardcore poor who are unable to install water points with their own cost can get safe drinking water through the implementation of this project. # Improved quality of life by introducing sustainable hygiene practices. # Water contaminated disease was reduced. # Poverty was decreased. # Community awared of safe water and health.
