Project Objective & Goal :
The capacity buildup of all relevant stakeholders to play the roles required to promote safe hygiene behavior (SHB), hygienic sanitation (HS), and safe water supply (SWS) with emphasis and disadvantaged groups. The capacity of NGO Forum enhanced to operate as a center of excellence in the WatSan sector.
Main outputs:
- Training on Basic Concept of CLTS, SHP & SWS for UP Members was provided to 1175 UP Members, UP chairmen
- Training on Basic Concept of CLTS, SHP & SWS for UP Members was provided to 1175 UP Members, UP chairmen
- Training on Participatory Monitoring of Hygiene Behavior was provided to 289 community stakeholders, school teachers, religious leaders
- Training on CAP and Hygiene Promotion Strategy for WWPC was provided to 2089 Ward WatSan Promotion Committee Members
- Training on Gender issues in WatSan for UP members was provided to 53UP members, Female UP members
- Training on PRA Tools for CAP & Hygiene Promotion (Basic) and (refreshers) was provided to105 Community gatekeepers, Partner NGO’s, hygiene promoter
- 673 School teachers were trained on “Teachers Training on Environmental Sanitation & Hygiene Promotion “
- Training on Hygiene Promotion for Health Workers was provided to 273 PNGO’s staffs, hygiene promoter
- 52 PNGO’s staff, Union facilitators received “Training on Communication and facilitation for WatSan”
- 60 Children/adolescents received “Training on Cultural Skill Dev. Related to WatSan campaign for Children/ adolescent”
· Technical Skill Development Training
- Training on Innovation & Production of Low-cost Technologies was provided for 68 local CBOs, Mason
- 240 Mason, Private Entrepreneurs received Training on Low -cost Latrine Production
- 40 local CBOs, LGIs Community Development Forum members received Training on Arsenic Awareness & Water Quality
- Training of Trainers (ToT)
- Training of Trainers on Sustainable WatSan Programme was provided to 21 local CBOs, PNGO’s staffs
- Training on Participatory Rural Appraisal(PRA) with a special focus on WatSan issues was provided to 47 local CBOs, Community Development Forum, female UP members
- 45 PNGO’s staffs, LGI, Community Development Forum received Training on WatSan Monitoring and Evaluation
- 390 local CBOs, PNGO’s staffs, LGI oriented Workshop on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation
