Project Objective & Goal :

The objectives of the project is to assess the effectiveness in the field of interventions currently in place in Bangladesh as part of the arsenic mitigation program. 
Specially the following issues has been addressed :

- To assess whether the intervention reduced the Arsenic does ( Arsenic in urine) 
- To determine whether the intentions are socially and economically acceptable to local community
- To determine the rate of compliance with the interventaions.
- To assess whether the intervention alters occurrence of Arsenic related diseases.
- To determine whether there are undesirable effects of the interventions.
- To assess the toxicity and availability of arsenic rich sludge generated by arsenic removal process using iron compunds.
