Project Objective & Goal :

Objective:

  • Functional FSM system ensuring livelihood opportunity while ensuring safe disposal and treatment of faecal sludge at least for 50% target people
  • 10% of target empowered youths are adequately skilled and engaged with work opportunity and acting as advocates on youth issues
  • 50% of targeted disaster management committees are prepared for effective disaster response

Goal:

Outcome 1: Models for resilient urban WASH that include marginalized communities, are demonstrated in Mymensingh and used to strengthen policy and practice (municipal, national);

Outcome 2: Urban disaster preparedness and response based on active citizenship, strategic alliances (government, private sector) and improved risk governance is demonstrated in Mymensingh and used to strengthen policy and practice (municipal, national);

Outcome 3: Urban youth (male and female) in marginalized communities in Myrnensingh empowered as change agents and increase their access to decent work
