Project Objective & Goal :

To support the capacity building of MFI field staff, local sanitation entrepreneurs on sanitation, market promotion, and ensuring the quality of construction on the selected sanitation technologies, the consulting firm worked in collaboration with PKSF and their 21 partner MFIs. They built the capacity of their staff and the LEs, enhancing their skills in sanitation and livelihood development, which helped scale up the project for future sustainability.

Major activities:

  • Baseline Survey and Reporting
  • Conduction of local entrepreneurs (LE) training
  • Orientation of credit staff of MFIs
  • Follow-up support/on-the-job support provided to the LEs
  • Demand creation and market promotion session with credit group members
  • Preparation of LE database
