NGO Forum for Public Health participated in Farmer's market display for the World Food Day celebration 2020. The event was organized by Cox's Bazar Food Security Sector (Date: 15th October 2020). NGO Forum was nominated by UNHCR to promote their Diversified Jute Bag products & Reusable Sanitary PAD. Under the Self Reliance Project supported by UNHCR, NGO Forum is working to improve the socio-economic condition of vulnerable women. World Food Day promotes global awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger and for the need to ensure healthy diets for all. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) designated 16 October as World Food Day in 1979. World Food Day is celebrated every year with different themes to focus on areas that require action and offer a common objective. This year the World Food Day 2020 theme is "Grow, nourish, sustain. Together. Our actions are our future".
