Ms. Sharfun Ara has appointed at NGO Forum for drinking water supply and sanitation as Research and Documentation officer under National Resource Centre since 2006. She worked earlier in various dimensions as a Field Researcher and Consultant in Previous employments.
She possesses work experience with Action Aid Bangladesh as Field Researcher. During her tenure she was entitled to gain a deeper understanding of the historical factors and process of Sundarban Reserve Forest that have shaped the current livelihood scenario and to explore on the specific issues like drinking water, sanitation, salinity, health, and gender. In addition, she worked earlier with APIT, UTTARAN as a consultant.
Ms. Sharfun Ara has a number of publications. Her features related to our livelihoods and community has been published in the Daily Shomokal and the Daily Ajker Kagoj.
